The new P229 Elite has an ergonomic beavertail grip, front cocking serrations, front strap checkering, SIGLITE® Night Sights, unique wood grips, and the new SRT, or Short Reset Trigger. SIG engineers created the SRT to deliver the same superb safety and smooth action as the SIG DA/SA, but with a 60% shorter reset for quicker trigger return and precise control during high-speed firing. The P229 Elite Stainless has a natural stainless steel finish on the slide and frame.
